Chelsea and Liverpool are preparing to go head to head for the signature of recently relegated Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
The Magpies star is highly-tipped to leave Newcastle this summer after dismal season didn’t see them make it out of the relegation zone.
Sissoko is currently part of Didier Deschamps’s France line-up despite Newcastle’s very disappointing season.
The 26-year-old has been one of Newcastle’s better players in what can only described as a very poor season with a turnover of one goal and seven assists in 37 Premier League games.
According to L’Equipe, The Blues and Liverpool are now plotting a move for the £9.5m-rated midfielder as both Antonio Conte and Jurgen Klopp look to strengthen their respective squads to take on title contenders next season.
