Chelsea loanee Oriol Romeu has revealed that he will sit down and discuss his future with his parent-club in the Summer, and has admitted that it could be away from Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old, who was signed by Andre Villas-Boas during his time at The Bridge, was sent out on-loan to La Liga with Valencia due to Jose Mourinho bringing in a couple of his own players, which also resulted in several more youngsters leaving the club on a loan move.
However, Romeu has enjoyed his time in Spain and was impressive throughout his side’s shock 3-2 victory at the Nou Camp against FC Barcelona, and he has now admitted that his future may be away from England, but he will find out for certain once the current season is over.
“I have no idea [what will happen in the summer]. I need to decide at the end of the season. Many things can happen,” Romeu told Sportsmail.
“We will sit down and decide what is best for me to do.
“They are watching me and they are always telling me things. They are looking after me and that’s good.
“You never know what can happen, but they are looking after me.”
