Kurt Zouma has revealed he is enjoying playing at Everton but will take a decision on his future once the season ends.
It took very little time for the player to prove his mettle at the Goodison Park since his arrival from Chelsea on a season long loan. The defender has been a permanent fixture and has breathed life into the Toffees’ defensive setup.
The 24 year old has been one of the most consistent players for the Merseysiders this season and once again showed his maturity as Everton registered another clean sheet against Arsenal courtesy a Zouma master class.
With Chelsea encountering a transfer ban in the next two transfer windows it would be a bit difficult for Marco Silva to figure out a permanent deal for the defender.
One being quizzed about his future the defender answered, “I don’t know yet. We have five more games to play and then we will see.
“I am very happy. My aim was to come and play and improve myself and I think I have done here. I hope we will finish the season very high.”
“We have more confidence and every one defends as a unit. Now everyone understands each other,
“We hold the ball a bit better, we are more compact as a team as we defend together and attack together.
“We are confident, are playing forward more and are playing better and we believe, but the season hasn’t finished yet so we have go again next week and get a win.
“It wasn’t difficult (to play with the change) because we’re used to working hard in training altogether.
