The 23 year-old moved from French side St Etienne to Borussia Dortmund last summer and has gone on to score 16 goals for his club, generating interest.

Chelsea have been keeping tabs on the Gabonese as they look to find a strike partner for Diego Costa, who will move to the West London side after the World Cup.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho has apparently made a ÂŁ16m bid for Fenerbache and Nigeria striker Emmanuel Emenike which shows their intent on strengthening their goal-scoring options.

Roma are also known to have been interested in aquiring the services of Aubameyang but the Dortmund forward’s father insists he will not be moving anywhere this summer.

Pierre Aubameyang spoke about the speculation surrounding his son: “There is no truth in those rumours.

“My son will carry on at Borussia Dortmund.

“He likes it at the club and the club did a lot to help him settle. No one from Dortmund has told us that they are out to sell my son – much to the opposite.”
