Premier League side Chelsea have made a formal enquiry regarding Paris Saint Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to reports.
The mega-rich French side have already completed a whopping deal for David Luiz, worth around £50million, and they are also keen on bringing; Petr Cech, Eden Hazard and Oscar as well from Stamford Bridge.
Despite Financial Fair Play rules coming into action soon, PSG are still planning on spending heavily, but with signings will come departures, and Lavezzi could be one of the stars on his way out, with Chelsea ready to make a bid if they can match asking-prices.
Jose Mourinho is desperate to add strength to his attacking options, after Samuel Eto’o, Demba Ba and Fernando Torres failed to impress last season, and with Eto’o already leaving the club on a free transfer, the Portuguese is keen to add at least two new striker, with Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa being one, and now Lavezzi could be the other.
The 29-year-old Argentinian international cost PSG around £22million when they signed him from Napoli two years ago, so they would be expecting around the £25-£30m region in order to make a profit on the pacey forward.
