Chelsea forward Samuel Eto’o is keen on signing for London-rivals Arsenal this Summer, in order to prove Jose Mourinho wrong.
The Cameroon international is still furious with the Portuguese man for his comments regarding his age, and after being released by the club after just one season, he is desperate to stay in England to prove Mourinho wrong.
The quotes came earlier in the season when The Blues boss thought he was off-camera, but a microphone picked him up claiming that he has no idea how old Eto’o really is and that he could be much older than what he really says.
Since then, Eto’o has publically criticised Mourinho and now according to reports, he has sent his representatives to Arsenal to let them know that his number-one option would be to join them this Summer.
Arsene Wenger is keen to sign a striker to his squad, and Eto’o would be free after being released, but the Frenchman doesn’t like signing players already over the age of 30, and that could be a potential stumbling block in the deal.
Wenger is currently looking into Real Madrid duo; Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata, as well as Premier League duo; Loic Remy and Wilfried Bony.
