Chelsea midfielder Ramires has revealed during a press conference that he would be interested in a return to Portuguese side Benfica in the future.
The Brazilian international signed for The Blues back in 2010 from Portugal outfit and despite settling in well in England, the midfielder has admitted that a move back could tempt him in the future.
Talking ahead of a Brazil international match, Ramires admitted that he still loves Benfica and has revealed that one day he could return to his former club.
“Football is full of surprises and I would like to return one day,” Ramires told a press conference.
“Benfica have a great team with a great history, a great manager. They have only been lacking titles recently.
“I’ve still got a tremendous amount of affection for Benfica, not just because they opened the door to Europe for me but because of all the things I experienced there, how they welcomed me and how well everything turned out. I can only thank the club.”
