Chelsea midfielder Willian is set to miss the start of the season, should he be called up to the Brazil national squad for the Olympics in the summer.
The games in Rio de Janeiro begin on 5th August, with the football event kicking off two-days later – Willian is due to be called up to represent the host nation.
Each participating nation is allowed three playing members over the age of 23, and head coach Dunga views the Chelsea favourite as one of the designated over-aged players.
If he is selected, Willian will miss the opening few weeks of the Premier League season. The top-flight kicks off on Saturday, 13th August, with the Blues keen to make a fresh start next term.
