Chelsea are reportedly negotiating the signing of Andrej Kramaric from HNK.
The forward, who currently plays for Croat title-chasers HNK Rijeka, has impressed this season, scoring 21 goals in just 19 games for his club side.
And now, Chelsea are set to test Rijeka’s resolve by submitting a bid for the 23-year-old.
Kramaric’s father, Josip, has stated his fear over his son wiyh a potential move to Chelsea, and stated that he worries that he may be shipped out on loan should he move to Chelsea in January.
“They [Chelsea] are really persistent. The thing we disagree over is Andrej’s loan over the next six months,” he told T Portal.
“The question is where would he go on loan? We have no guarantee that he would return to Chelsea when the loan ends.
“The financial conditions wouldn’t be the same if Kramaric is with the Chelsea first team or somewhere on loan.
“True, it’s a great club, but I’m not sure if it’s the right way to go.”
