According to Italian reports, AC Milan are set to sign the Chelsea star on loan
The Spaniard is said to be keen on a move to the Italian giants after he has failed to secure a place in Conte’s starting eleven. Also, unlike many other big name players, Milan have no issue on paying Fabregas’ wages during his stay at the club, adding an incentive to move there temporarily.
Fabregas has continuously been linked with a move away from the bridge after a particularly poor season where Chelsea finished 10th in the Premier League. However, despite his one appearance in the premier league so far, the playmaker has denied that he has fallen out with the new manager.
The former Arsenal man was rumoured to have fallen out with Conte over his team selection but the player has been quick to deny this.
‘Contrary to what has been written, the manager has never told me that I can leave,’ Fabregas posted on Instagram. ‘I’m fully committed to Chelsea FC and my only goal is to help them win more trophies.’
Is it only Milan who’s interested?
Earlier this month, reports in Italy claimed that Fabregas had been offered to Serie A champions Juventus as a possible replacement for the French powerhouse, Paul Pogba.
