German side Borussia Monchengladbach are keen to make the loan deal of Chelsea youngster Thorgan Hazard permanent, and have offered the Blues £6.3m for his services.

Thorgan, younger brother of Eden, signed for the Stamford Bridge side from French side Lens in 2012.

However, the younger Hazard has seen his first-team chances limited, and he has spent the last two seasons on loan at Belgians Zulte Waregem.

This summer, he was shipped out on loan again, this time to Monchengladbach.

With a return so far of four goals and seven assists from twenty-one outings, the Germans are now expressing an interest in keeping him at the club.

Hazard has previously expressed his desire to play alongside Eden for Chelsea. However, there is plenty of competition for starting spots.

That, coupled with a chance of Champions League football next season with Monchengladbach, may convince him to stay.

Thorgan has represented Belgium at international level all the way from Under-15 to senior level.
