Atletico Madrid want Diego Costa for Jackson Martinez
Atletico Madrid have offered Chelsea a chance at a player-swap deal involving Jackson Martinez and Diego Costa, according to reports.
Both strikers have struggled for form so far this season, which has sparked talks of the two switching clubs in the summer, with Chelsea interested in Martinez for the past two years, and Atletico keen on having a reunion with Costa.
However, since Guus Hiddink‘s arrival, Costa has re-found some form and is scoring for fun once again, which could block any proposed deal.
Player-Swap
Atletico are keen on re-signing Costa and are prepared to put Martinez in the deal in order to sweeten in.
If this deal was to happen, it would take place in the summer, with both ineligible to play in the Champions League for either club should a deal take place this window.
