According to reports Chelsea have made a huge £62m bid for Torino striker Andrea Belotti

Torino striker Andrea Belotti has been a top target for Conte, but there’s been some set backs in trying to get a deal going.

According to a report by Tuttosport, Torino rejected a bid in order to force the Premier League giants to activate Belotti’s £88m release clause.

However, despite that reports say Chelsea have still put forth the bid of £62m, but no confirmation whether it has been rejected this time.

Belotti had a cracker season in the Serie A last season, with the striker netting 26 goals in 35 league appearances for a Torino side that finished 9th.

Monaco are also reported to be lining up a move for Torino striker Andrea Belotti as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, should the 18-year-old leave for PSG as expected.

Leonardo Jardim’s side would have to trigger Belotti’s £88m release clause but have the funds after a summer of high-profile and lucrative departures.

The Gazzetta dello Sport labelled  23-year-old Torino striker Andrea Belotti as a ‘great prize’ but reported that no official contact has been made between the clubs.
