It is has been revealed that Chelsea only paid £28million for Eden Hazard, not £32.5million as first announced.

The transfer switch was confirmed as £32.5m back in 2012 but Le Soir have seized a copy of his contract from Football Leaks, and it states that they paid £4.5m less for the Belgium international.

His report claims that the Blues only spent £28m on the Lille star who was being monitored by a range of top European sides at the time.

Hazard is not the only player in the Premier League to have had information of his contract leaked this week by the same organisation.

Football Leaks have also released contract details on other Belgian duo Divock Origi and Toby Alderweireld.

The Belgian publication say that the 25-year-old earned a €2.4m bonus for being named PFA Player of the Year in 2015 after Chelsea won the Premier League.

His salary more than doubled when he signed an extension to stay at Stamford Bridge back in February 2015, going from €5m per-year to a staggering €12.4m per-year.

The winger is playing to his potential this season, following a disappointing 2015/16 campaign. He has scored eight goals in 17 games under Antonio Conte so far this term.
