Thibaut Courtois
Really had nothing to do except pick the ball out of his net. 5
Cesar Azpilicueta
Defensively looked okay, but with the rest of the team, was off his game. 5
Andreas Christensen
Was given a bit of a runaround by Michail Antonio during the game. Probably the toughest afternoon that he has had as a starter. 5
Gary Cahill
Did pretty well to stop the flurry of attacks and late breaks. 5
Marcos Alonso
Was really, really unhappy about being subbed. But in truth he provided little to the game as well. Has had a few poor weeks. 4
Davide Zappacosta
Completely outplayed by Arthur Masuaku on that flank and didn’t do anything going forward, plus poor defensively as well. 3
Cesc Fabregas
Couldn’t provide anything going forward in the usual way that he does and nothing really worked at all for him. 4
Tiemoue Bakayoko
Offered very little on both sides of the ball in the first half. Subbed at half-time for Pedro as Conte changed to a 3-4-3. His miserable run of form continues. 3
N’Golo Kante
Probably had the most touches of any Chelsea player on the pitch, which probably goes to show the lack of creativity that was going on in the midfield. 5
Eden Hazard
Even Hazard couldn’t inspire Chelsea to any sort of positivity. Nothing on the ball worked for him, crowded out at all times and West Ham brilliantly managed to stop him, without even really kicking him in the air. 4
Alvaro Morata
Didn’t look at the races at all in the first half. Struggling with an illness and certainly looked like it. Passing wayward and no chances at all, a poor performance. 3
Substitutes
Pedro
Came on at half-time and actually provided a little bit of spark. However, that faded away. 5
Victor Moses
Didn’t really add much when he came on. 5
Willian
Didn’t contribute much. 4
