Sources suggest that Premier League leaders, Chelsea FC are set to bid £20m to bring Ireland international full back Seamus Coleman to the bridge in the summer.
The right-back, who has featured 9 times this campaign has interested Mourinho of late, due to his fine form.
Coleman, who arrived from Sligo Rovers in 2009 has been labeled part of the ‘best two fullbacks in England’ by manager Roberto Martinez. ‘In previous years, full-backs only had to defend – it was a bonus if they crossed the halfway line. But now they have to be able to defend one-on-one, and help offensively too.’
If Chelsea are to sign Coleman, Everton are already lining up replacements, and have reportedley enquired into the availiability of out-of-favour Spaniard Marvin Montoya, who turns out for FC Barcelona.
