Jose Mourinho wants reunion with German

Chelsea are plotting a shock Summer transfer for Arsenal star Mesut Ozil as Jose Mourinho eyes a reunion with the former-Real Madrid star.

The duo worked together at the Bernabeu and were part of several trophy victories at the club, including a La Liga title, a Copa Del Rey and also a Supercopa de Espana.

Mourinho signed Ozil for the Spanish giants back in 2010 from German side Werder Bremen after he shone at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and now according to reports in Spain, he wants to buy him again, this time for Chelsea.

According to Fichajes, Mourinho wants to reunite with the playmaker and is keen on striking a deal if the two clubs can reach an agreeable fee.

Wenger rules out sales

However, The Blues face an uphill task of landing the German after Arsene Wenger stated just a week ago that the club are no longer a selling club.

Wenger was discussing Manchester City’s interest in Jack Wilshere, and it’s expected that he will have the same attitude towards Chelsea’s interest in Ozil.

The Gunners spent ÂŁ42million on the German last Summer, making him the club’s most expensive player, and they see him as a crucial part of their long-term success.

Mourinho will however have a reunion with Ozil this weekend as Chelsea travel to the Emirates Stadium.
