The Blues are reportedly preparing one last final offer for Juventus star Giorgio Chiellini, according to reports.
As sources claim, Conte is still keen to bring in another defender in order to help Gary Cahill and club captain John Terry up back.
Conte has worked with Chiellini when at Juve, and also over the summer at Euro 2016 while managing Italy. The Chelsea boss wants to link up again with Chiellini to have him as a key member of his defence.
Reports also state that the Blues have also been in talks with Napoli’s Senegal international centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, However. that has been an on-going struggle for months and media sources are confident that a deal will be struck before the transfer deadline fast approaches.
