Blues to make £35m bid for Frenchman
Chelsea are poised to make a £35.8million bid for Real Madrid defender, Raphael Varane, in the coming weeks.
The French international has become unsettled at the Bernabeu, and is keen to make the move to West London, in order to reunite with Jose Mourinho.
Contract talks at Madrid have somewhat broken down, with Varane now ready to move onto pastures new, having failed to hold down a regular starting spot in Carlo Ancelotti‘s starting eleven.

And the Chelsea manager is confident that he can reach an agreement over a transfer fee of around £35.8million, according to reports in the Spanish media.
Los Blancos are unlikely to be willing to part ways with Varane, so an offer of £35.8million is set to be tabled in the near future, as Chelsea look to get their man.
