Could Costa leave Chelsea?
Chelsea are ready to sell Diego Costa this summer and spend £95million on replacing him.
It’s being claimed that that Conte has reached an agreement with Michael Emenalo, Chelsea’s technical director, to cash in on the Spain international this summer.
In replacement, they want to sign Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, who wants away from Goodison Park, and Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata.
Chelsea’s priority is to re-sign Lukaku from Everton and the Premier League leaders are confident that a £60m offer will be enough to land the striker they sold for £28m in 2014.
But the Italian manager Conte is also keen on Morata, and is thought to be prepared to pay up to £35million for the Spaniard.
Chelsea are confident they will be able to get rid of Costa this summer should they wish to, with his former club Atletico Madrid and several Chinese clubs said to be interested.
