Jiangsu Suning have bid worth £57.5million turned down

Chelsea have rejected a £57.5million bid from Jiangsu Suning for Oscar, according to reports.

The Chinese club are on a bit of a spending spree so far this year, signing Ramires from the Blues for £24.2m, and being close to signing Alex Teixeira for £38m.

Oscar, who netted a hat-trick for Chelsea in the FA Cup against MK Dons, has been in-and-out of the first-team in recent months, competing with the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro for spots in the starting XI.

Chinese Interest

However, his performances when he has played has caught the eye of Jiangsu, who have reportedly seen a formal bid worth just shy of £60m turned down.

It would have been the Chinese club’s third mega-signing in recent weeks, but Chelsea have insisted that the attacking-midfielder is not for sale.

According to reports, they will renew their interest in the summer in the hope that the new manager may be willing to sell if the offer is right.
