Chelsea Football Club have just now released a statement discussing the video that is going around of some fans preventing a black man from getting onto the Metro in Paris.
In the video you can see the fans push the man out and then start chanting ‘We’re racist, we’re racist, and that’s the way we like it, we like it’, and Chelsea have now released the following statement regarding the footage.
‘Such behaviour is abhorrent and has no place in football or society.
‘We will support any criminal action against those involved in such behaviour, and should evidence point to the involvement of Chelsea season ticket holders or members the club will take the strongest possible action against them including banning orders.’
It’s expected that the fans caught on camera taking part will be banned from Chelsea Football Club.
