According to reports in France, Gabonese striker Aubameyang will leave Borussia Dortmund to join Chelsea this summer as the two clubs have already begun talks over a deal.
The 25 year-old moved to Germany last year from French side St. Etienne and scored 13 goals from 21 Bundesliga starts in his debut season under Jurgen Klopp.
£7m is the reported asking price if the Blues are to aquire the forward’s services for next season. Chelsea will be keen to sign Aubameyang as they are interested in signing a strike partner for Diego Costa who will join Chelsea after the World Cup.
Chelsea have also been linked with a £60m raid of Juventus to sign United target Paul Pogba.
The bid would become their highest ever, surpassing that of Fernando Torres who signed for £50m back in 2011. And with Cesc Fabregas already a Blue, Chelsea will look to further strengthen their midfield as they look to once again push for the premier League title.
