Chelsea are set to be offered £8million from Turkish side, Besiktas, for striker Demba Ba.

The ambitious outfit are in London and are reportedly holding talks with officials from both the Premier League club and also Ba’s agent, with £8m set to be the original offer.

The Senegalese striker is on the fringes of the Chelsea first-team, and with Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa set to join Stamford Bridge in the near-future, Ba is expected to fall further down the pecking order and a move away may interest him.

Jose Mourinho has been very honest throughout the season about his strikers, and after Samuel Eto’o left the club on a free, Ba could be the second one to join him out of the door with Turkey the expected destination.

The 29-year-old is interested in a move away as long as he’s promised first-team football and good personal terms, and with the money in Turkish football, Ba might not be disappointed with what Besiktas have to offer.

Ba has previously attracted interest from Premier League duo; Arsenal and Everton, but it’s unknown whether they will renew their interest this Summer.
