Chelsea have completed the signing of Under-20 midfielder Cristian Cuevas.
Cuevas agreed a deal to join Chelsea in February and the move have now been finalised. The fee is said to be around £3.5 million and the midfielder have signed a contract until 2018.
Cuevas came through the youth ranks at the Chilean club O’Higgins but will now fight for his place at Chelsea.
“I’m very happy,” said Cuevas, who can play at left-back or on the left wing. “Chelsea were following me for more than a year. What I wanted happened, which was joining this club.”
