He joins for £6.7m from Fluminese
Chelsea have announced the signing of Brazilian prodigy Kenedy after he eventually had a work permit granted this week.
The Blues had their £6.7 million bid for the youngster accepted earlier this summer, however the hold up with the official announcement was due to him needing a work permit before a move could be rubber stamped.
The 19 year-old has already shown Chelsea fans what he can do on the pitch, having impressed during their pre-season tour to America this summer, and he is now eligible for domestic selection following the permit hearing.

And Kenedy couldn’t hide his delight at getting the deal eventually all sewn up: ‘I am very happy to complete my transfer to Chelsea.’ He said.
“It is an exciting time for me to join the English Premier League champions and I hope I can become an important player for the club.
“I very much enjoyed my time with the squad during pre-season and I am very grateful to Fluminense for allowing me this opportunity.”
