Cesc Fabregas has made it clear that he isn’t pleased that Conte has placed him on bench practically all season, However, the Spaniard took it one step further.
Having only made 17 league appearances this season, Fabregas has admitted that it upset him a lot not to lose his spot in the starting XI.
‘In the beginning when I didn’t play, I told people not even to speak to me because I was really upset,’ he admitted after the 3-1 victory over Paul Clement’s side.
‘I can understand there are doubts with the philosophy of the manager.
‘He came in, wanted to see if I could adapt and I can understand that. I’m someone who wants to play with the ball, maybe not so much the defensive side.
