According to reports Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matić has agreed personal terms with Manchester United
Reports from Manchester Evening News suggest Matic is just about on his way to Old Trafford.
As reported by M.E.N: “it is understood [Matić] has verbally agreed personal terms. United just need to agree a fee with Chelsea, who might be more willing to sell once they have someone in to beef up their midfield.”
It’s said that Man United’s hopes of signing Nemanja Matic this summer have been boosted by Chelsea’s progress on a £42million move for Monaco star Tiemoué Bakayoko.
Bakayoko’s arrival would raise question marks over the future of Matic at Stamford Bridge and the Serbian is believed to be very keen on reuniting with former boss Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
The Independent’s report also claims preliminary talks between Matic and the Red Devils have already taken place to discuss personal terms on a move to the north-west.
