Chelsea star Alvaro Morata has explained that his new goal celebration is tribute to his wife
Chelsea’s 4-0 win over West Brom pushed them up to third in the table as Tottenham dropped to fourth after their loss to Arsenal.
Alvaro Morata netted his ninth goal of the season in the 4-0 win over West Brom and celebrated by making an ‘A’ with his fingers.
The celebration is a new one from Morata and Blues fans now know it was in honour of his wife, Alice. Morata opened the scoring at West Brom and explained after the game it was a tribute to his wife.
He said on Instagram: ‘Always A I love u so much.’ Morata got married in the summer just before his move to Chelsea.
