Spanish giants remain keen on Belgian

Chelsea winger and Player of the Year nominee Eden Hazard doesn’t have plans to sign for Real Madrid this summer.

The Belgium international has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants after Zinedine Zidane claimed that Hazard is one of the best players in the world.

Hazard, 25, confirmed that he grew up admiring the former French midfielder, but reports in England suggest that he will remain a Blues player – for next season at least.

The former Lille player has recently penned a new five-and-a-half year contract worth around £200,000-per-week.

Hazard is the bookies’ favourite to take the PFA Player of the Year award home after scoring 18 goals this campaign in all competitions playing mainly as a winger under Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
Madrid keen on Hazard

It is reported that if Madrid want to sign Hazard, they would have to make a world-record bid which would make the transfer at least £86million.

However, a world-record fee won’t even help to secure his signature as the Belgian winger has told his close friends that he is planning to stay at Stamford Bridge next season despite reports linking him away to the Spanish capital.
