Chelsea star loaned back to Germany
Chelsea have loaned back Ghanian defender Baba Rahman to Schalke 04 until the end of the 2018-19 season.
The 23-year-old had been loaned to the German club where he spent a chunk of the 2016-17 season, before he sustained a knee injury during the Africa Cup of Nations.
The cruciate ligament tear meant that he has not played a single game since January 2017.

Rahman signed for Chelsea from Ausburg in 2015, and played a total of 23 games for Chelsea during his maiden season. He is contracted with the club til 2020.
He was a regular at Germany before the knee injury, and had garnered 21 appearances at the club.
The defender has played for the Ghanan U-20, before graduating to the top level and playing for the national side in 2014, and has since then, garnered 24 appearances for Ghana.
