Chelsea star Eden Hazard has said that the Blues don’t need another striker amid widespread reports linking Chelsea with several different strikers recently.

Chelsea are being linked with several strikers currently with reports suggesting the Blues are on the verge of signing Edin Dzeko while others such as Peter Crouch, Ashley Barnes and Andy Carroll have all been linked.

But Chelsea star Eden Hazard has called for the club to keep Michy Batshuayi and believes that Morata, Batshuayi and Hazard himself are more than enough. Hazard also hit out at fans for doubting them after a bad run of games where they failed to score.

Main striker, Alvaro Morata has not scored in his last six appearances while head coach Antonio Conte doesn’t seem to trust Batshuayi.

Hazard said: “I think we have two very good strikers in Alvaro and Michy. ‘If they are not ready to play I can play striker, so I don’t think we need [another striker].

Hazard then went on to address the recent goal drought and hit back at fans for doubting them.

“Football is simple – keep the ball on the ground and try [to play] like we did.

‘Because we are missing chances people are saying we need another striker, but if we are scoring goals, we are the best attack in the league and no-one can say we need a striker.

‘It depends on the form of the team and I think we’re happy with the team we have.’
