Chelsea will look to field a strong starting XI ahead of the crucial Premier League clash against Manchester City on Saturday.

Antonio Conte’s side travel to the Etihad for one of the biggest clashes of the season as the table toppers take on one of their main rivals contenders.

Manchester City are only one point off Chelsea who are currently top of the league table but Conte’s side have been in sensational form so should stick with the team that has swept all comers apart in recent months. It is capable of smashing City in Saturday’s mouthwatering clash.

Using the 3-4-3 formation has worked perfectlyfor Chelsea so they should retain a back three consisting of Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta when they go in search of their eighth straight victory.

Thibaut Courtois is the obvious choice for the number one spot and the defence are well protected with N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic

Eden Hazard and Diego Costa have been Chelsea’s star players this season and they should undoubtedly start up front in attack, with Costa leading the line through the centre.

Hazard should play in the wide role, with Pedro retaining his place on the opposite wing. This would mean that attacking midfielder Willian, who won the club’s player of the year award last season, will once again be omitted.

Victor Moses has now netted two goals in his last six league games and has been in great form so should also retain his place in the starting XI.

Macros Alonso completes the starting line-up.
