Chelsea target agrees move to Chinese Super League

Chelsea have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Lucas Moura. The Brazilian has reportedly agreed terms with Chinese Super League side, Beijing Guoan according to GOAL.

The Brazilian is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January as they look to sell players for a huge fee to come to terms with Financial Fair Play. The French side reportedly need to sell players for a minimum of £80 million next month to be on par with the FFP rules.

Reports last month suggested the Antonio Conte had set his sights on the Moura as he looked set to let go of Willian. The PSG star was reportedly available for £27 million but now he’s set to join the Chinese side for a fee reported to be close to £45 million.

Chelsea will have to look elsewhere now or move back to sign Ross Barkley as Conte needs to add fresh faces to challenge for the Premier League and Champions League titles.
