Real Madrid star Isco has hinted that he is prepared to ignore Chelsea’s transfer interest and sign a new Real Madrid contract.
The Real Madrid man has dropped a huge hint on his future, suggesting that he will do all that he can to remain in Madrid, despite reported interest from current Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Isco scored a last-minute winner to beat Sporting Gijon on Saturday, as Real went top of the La Liga table.
After his heroics, he said: “I have always made it clear that I want to be here for many years.
“I don’t know why it surprises people that I want to play more.
“I want to stay in Madrid and for many years, both the club and I are going to make the right decision.
“I know that I am in the best team in the world and I try to do the best job.”
Spanish outlet Don Balon claimed recently that Chelsea are willing to do all they can to land Isco this summer, claiming that Blues’ boss Antonio Conte is desperate to sign Isco at all costs, and will do everything within his power to assure that Isco comes to Stamford Bridge.
Judging by Isco’s recent comments however, it appears this may be a far more difficult task than Conte had first thought – with the promise of first team football believed to be a major factor Chelsea planned to use to persuade Isco to West London.
