Chelsea are looking to add firepower to their squad as they barely made it past in the next round of the FA Cup.
The Premier League leaders are looking to strengthen Antonio Conte‘s squad with a new striker. Alvaro Morata has now gone 6 games without a goal and the Blues need a new striker with Michy close to being loaned out.
Chelsea have held talks with Roma over the possibility of signing Edin Dzeko this month. The Blues have already held talks with West Ham over a potential deal for Andy Carroll. They are considering a permanent move for the striker who is valued at £20m.
Chelsea are in negotiations with Roma over a deal for their Brazilian left-back Emerson Palmieri. They have also talked about signing Dzeko.
Reports claim that Roma are unwilling to allow Dzeko to leave as they would be without a leading striker for the rest of the campaign. But Chelsea are expected to make another approach before the January window closes.
