The Turkey international looks likely to leave La Liga this summer
Chelsea have been handed a massive boost with the news that Arda Turan will be allowed to leave Barcelona this summer.
The Blues have been keeping an eye on the situation with the player at the Nou Camp and will be pleased to learn that the Spanish giants plan to let the Turkey international leave the club.
They are willing to let him leave if the right offer comes in and won’t stand in his way if he does decide he wants out of the club.
However, it would take only an offer of £20m for Barca to consider letting Turan leave the club, while they are also holding out for the midfielder to hand in a transfer request – once he does, they will be more than happy to let him go.
Previously looked for a house in London
In the past though, the 29-year old’s agent has claimed he is happy at Barcelona and wouldn’t want a move away from Spain. In more recent interviews though, it has seemed more likely that he would be open to leave, with his agent refusing to rule out a move.
Another huge boost to Chelsea will be the fact that he has also previously looked into buying a house in London – something which clearly shows he likes the area and would potentially be open to a move to Stamford Bridge.
Ina quote from the interview last year, he said: “I am thinking about buying a house in London, nothing too fancy, something like a 180 square meter flat. I just would like a place in London.”
