According to reports, Everton teenager Tom Davies has now emerged as a shock target for Premier League champions Chelsea
Davies has had a good run for Everton under Ronald Koeman last season and his top performances earned him a lot of praise throughout the Premier League.
The Blues were slow to make an impact in the transfer market, but have made recently secured the big money signings of Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata.
Reports on Tuesday also suggested that chairman Roman Abramovich would sanction the £150m signings of Virgil van Dijk and Alex Sandro as Antonio Conte looks to improve his defensive options.
How much the Blues will have to pay for Davies in a currently inflated transfer market is unknown.
