Chelsea will make a swift bid for £12 Million rated winger Lazer Markovic.
Liverpool were thought to be keen on the player, however they opted to pay £25 million for Southampton’s Adam Lallana instead.
The Benfica man helped his side to the Europa League final last season and most recently signed a new five year deal at the Portuguese side, however a clause in his deal with Chelsea could see him leave for £12 million.
Chelsea had apparently agreed a deal with Markovic, something which was denied by the club.
However it appears that the Blues have inserted a clause from their agreement with Benfica, which all comes from the David Luiz deal in 2011.
