Chelsea will make a mega-move for Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale, in the New Year.
The Welshman has been strongly linked with a move back to England, just a couple of years after leaving Tottenham Hotspur for Real Madrid in a record breaking deal worth £85million, and Chelsea are now keen to tempt the winger back to London.
Bale, who has impressed in Spain since arriving, has been tracked by both Manchester United and Chelsea, and now according to reports, Jose Mourinho’s side are ready to launch a bid worth £100m.
According to numerous reports, Madrid are keen to sign David De Gea from United, and Eden Hazard from Chelsea, and they may sell Bale in order to raise the funds to sign one-or-both of the Premier League stars.
In recent weeks, Madrid have stated that they wouldn’t even sell Bale for £230m, but if a formal bid of £100m does come in for the Welsh international, the Spanish giants may consider selling.
If Chelsea or United want to guarantee signing Bale, they could have to cough up £786m, which is his release clause in his contract.
