Chelsea are eyeing up a move for Benfica forward Anderson Talisca next summer after sending scouts to watch him this week. According to reports, Jose Mourinho has been monitoring the 20-year old’s development and even sent scouts to watch him this week.
Mourinho was already an admirer of the player but after seeing him in action, the Chelsea boss is reportedly planning a move for him next summer. Drogba’s contract is set to expire at the end of the current season and he plans on replacing him with Talisca.
However, it won’t be easy to land the youngster with Arsenal, Man United and Man City also keeping tabs on the forward. He has only just been signed by current side Benfica, who signed him from Bahia for £3.1m in the summer.
