Premier League side preparing ÂŁ12m bid

Chelsea are the latest team to be linked with a Summer move for FC Barcelona outcast Pedro.

The Spaniard has fallen down the pecking order at the Nou Camp since the arrival of Luis Suarez, and with Neymar and Lionel Messi filling the wing positions, first-team opportunities are limited for the 27-year-old.

Pedro is expected to leave Barca this Summer after choosing against a move this time last year, when he could have moved to Arsenal before Alexis Sanchez took the opportunity.

Premier League Interest

Arsenal have however been linked with making a move for the winger this Summer as well, but face competition from Liverpool and now according to reports, Chelsea.

Despite not being a regular, Pedro has made 47 appearances coming off the bench this season for Luis Enrique‘s men, but the Spanish international is desperate to get starting time for a new club.

According to reports in Spain, Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer for Pedro and would love to work with him at Stamford Bridge if the right deal becomes available.

Chelsea’s Options

Mourinho already has a wealth of attacking options at his disposal with Eden Hazard, Willian, Oscar and Juan Cuadrado, but it’s reported that he wants to add a further option just to add depth to his side.

Mohamed Salah is also set to return to West London in the Summer with his loan-deal expiring from Fiorentina, but according to reports, the Egyptian won’t be staying there for long as a permanent sale is in the pipeline.

Pedro could be as cheap as ÂŁ12million with his contract expiring next Summer.
