Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, is ready to push through a deal with Borussia Dortmund for midfielder star, Marco Reus, and he is prepared to offer £20m plus Andre Schurrle for the playmaker.
The German international, who is wanted by several clubs around Europe, is widely expected to leave the club in the near-future, with his £20m release clause coming into effect in the Summer.
However, The Blues want to beat off the competition by making an early move in January and are prepared to meet that £20m, but throw in Schurrle as well as a way of sweetening the deal.
It’s believed that Dortmund don’t want to sell in January, but the offer that Chelsea are making could be too good to turn down with the risk of losing Reus for just £20m in the Summer.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are just three teams also showing interest in the German.
