Blues ready to go big to sign star-striker

Chelsea are ready to offer Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic a contract worth a staggering £215k-a-week.

The Swedish international is strongly linked with a move away from PSG over the summer, as he eyes one last challenge in his footballing career before moving to America to retire, and the Premier League is a likely destination.

Ibrahimovic has done it in Spain, Italy and France now with FC Barcelona, Inter Milan/AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain respectively, and he’s now ready to test himself in England.

Ibra to England?

Chelsea aren’t the only side linked with making a move for the Swede however, with Arsenal also linked, but according to reports today, Chelsea are prepared to go big in order to get the deal done.

It’s reported that the Blues will offer Ibrahimovic a contract worth £215k-a-week, making him one of the club’s highest earners.

Despite the striker being 34-years-old, officials at Stamford Bridge are ready to take a gamble on the striker as they look to add firepower to their squad.
