Blues may sack boss despite Wednesday’s result

Chelsea Football Club are considering the future of manager Jose Mourinho after yet another shock Premier League defeat.

The Blues fell to a 1-0 home defeat to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday evening thanks to a late Glen Murray goal, and it was a loss that leaves them 14 points off the Champions League places.

Mourinho‘s men have mustered up just four league wins all season, and are sitting 14th in the Premier League table despite winning it just a few months ago.

Chelsea take on FC Porto at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening in a game they must get at least a draw from, but according to reports, Mourinho could lose his job no matter what the result.

Officials at Chelsea are worried for the long-term and don’t believe the club will get out of this current rot, and they believe the only way to improve things is by changing things, with Mourinho top on the agenda.

Abramovich Ready To Sack

Roman Abramovich gave Mourinho the vote of confidence earlier in the season, but things haven’t improved since then, and he may have changed his mind despite the fans still wanting the Special One.

The Russian believes the wealth of talent at the club are not proving their worth and he believes it’s down to the manager, who might be getting sacked from the same job for a second time in his career.

To add further fears to Mourinho’s job, it’s thought that he is not the man to get the best out of Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, despite their impressive seasons last year.

Both have been a shadow of their former selves this season, and the board at Stamford Bridge are worried that Mourinho can’t get the best out of the talented stars.

The likes of Branislav Ivanovic, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Oscar are all failing to impress as well.
