Reports emerge that Wenger will have to part with £14million

Chelsea have finally slapped a price tag on goalkeeper Petr Cech, with £14 million being the least Mourinho would accept for the Chelsea veteran

Although Mourinho and Chelsea would prefer to see the Czech Republic keeper go abroad, with Paris Saint Germain reportedly interested, the player himself is keen on a move across London to Arsenal.

Arsenal Deal Looks On

Reports in the Daily Star however, suggest that Abramovich will allow the 33-year-old to move to the Emirates as a thank you for his eleven year service.

During his time at Chelsea, Cech made 485 appearances for the club, winning four Premier Leagues, four FA Cups, three League Cups, two Community Shields, the Europa League, and of course the Champions League.

Individually he claimed the Premier League‘s Golden Glove, awarded for keeping the most clean sheets, three times, was selected in the Premier League team of the season twice, and was Chelsea’s player of the season in 2011.

Potential Cech Replacements

Mourinho has been considering candidates to fill the role of challenger to Thibaut Courtois, with early reports suggesting Norwich City keeper John Ruddy was the favourite.

Now however, it has emerged that the Happy One now has his sights set on QPR and former England keeper Robert Green.
