The agent of Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen has played down reports that his client is heading to Sunderland on loan. The Blues signed the wonderkid when he was just 15-years old back in 2012, beating Man City to his signature.
The highly-rated defender has had an amazing past few seasons for the club’s reserve side, helping them clinch the Under-21 Prem title last season. He is currently signed on to Chelsea until the year 2016. But now, Sunderland want to sign him on loan until the end of next season and they would be offering the player valuable Premier League experience.
However, Christensen’s agent believes that he will still be at Stamford Bridge during the next campaign, as he said: “That is not my impression right now.
“I have not talked to the club about a loan for Andreas. At the moment, the plan is that Andreas will play for Chelsea when pre-season starts after the summer vacation.”
