Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has welcomed new signing Libor Kozak to Villa Park and believes the two can create a formidable partnership for the season ahead.
Benteke, who was superb for Villa last season, did most of the scoring last year for Paul Lambert’s side and he is hoping that the new signing can take some of the load of him and provide the club with some goals in order to keep the side in the Premier League once again.
Despite losing in his debut to Newcastle United, Benteke has been impressed by Kozak in training and cannot wait to work with him in the future.
“I think he will help me a lot and do well for the team as well,” said Benteke in the Birmingham Mail.
“We can learn from each other. I haven’t trained much with him because he went away with his national team.
“But you can see he has good qualities with his finishing and I hope he’s going to score some goals for the team.”
