Claudio Ranieri has said that he is satisfied with the way Fulham are playing in the Premier League.

The comments came on the back of a 1-1 draw against Ranieri’s former club Leicester City, who won the Premier League under his tutelage.

Claudio Ranieri has said that he is happy the way Fulham are currently playing in the Premier League. The west London club went onto scrape out a draw against Ranieri’s former club Leicester City in their last match at Craven Cottage and are currently at the bottom of the league table, looking right in the eye of a possible relegation by the end of the season.

However, the Italian mastermind has also advised his side to work harder as they continue to progress. The former Premier League winning manager said, “We continue to progress. I’m very happy with our performance.” He added, “Slowly, slowly. We have to work more. But I’m happy. A lot of the work they understand. Little things, but important things.”

Fulham are currently on a 19 game run without a clean sheet. However, they are looking to revive under their new manager and despite a loss and a draw in their last two matches, Fulham are looking to play better football than they did in their first 12 matches of the season.

Captain Tom Cairney has also accepted the fact that Ranieri is looking to bring his own philosophy and playing style into the side. He said that the 67-year-old Italian manager has “quickly stamped his authority” since taking over at Craven Cottage.
