Chelsea Football Club have officially submitted a €60m bid for Sandro

Juventus director Beppe Marota has come out and confirmed that Chelsea have submitted a €60m offer for the Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro.

The Juventus director also explained the situation of several players.

Regarding Alex Sandro however, who has been linked with the Blues for sometime now, the reporter only mentioned the player’s name, and Marota jumped at the chance telling everything.

“Well, for him we received an offer of €60m from Chelsea. And, for the record, we refused it. But if Alex Sandro receives a salary offer which isn’t logical for us, then…”

Both Chelsea and Manchester City have been strongly linked to Alex Sandro in the past few months. Earlier this week, local Italian outlet El Bianconero even reported that the player had rejected both clubs, but if we take a at Marotta’s quotes, it may look like it was actually Juventus who rejected the advances.

Juventus forked out a cool €26m to sign Alex Sandro from Porto back in 2015, However, In case Chelsea raise this offer and Juve decide to sell, the profit will be excellent.
